Choosing a Deck Fan
Anyone who owns a deck knows that it is a great investment for your home. Not only does it look great, but it is fun to spend time on. And it also raises the value of your home once you sell it. A deck fan makes it even better. On extremely hot days, you will enjoy having a deck fan to keep the environment comfortable for your party. A deck fan also serves to keep annoying flying insects away from food and drink items. There are several types of deck fans available at your local home and garden center. Here are a few of the more common types of deck fans.
One of your first choices is the ground level deck fan. The ground level deck fan send a burst of strong air up from the ground. This feels especially good on the legs if you happen to be wearing shorts. Also, the ground level deck fan is fairly safe and will not tip over easily. Another option is the standing deck fan. This is a fan that sits at the top of a three or four foot rod. The standing deck fan blows a burst of air above waist level. Finally, an over head deck fan must be mounted to some sort of beam or trellis.
