Sweeping out Your Roof Corners
From time to time, homeowners can be confronted with the problem of excessive pine straw building up in the corner of the roof. This does not sound like much of a problem, but believe me when I tell you that pine straw clumps on roof corners and seams can cause many problems. If pine straw builds up on your roof, the first issue you will face is water collection. If your roof is not made with high quality shingles, then you might end up with a water leak from your roof to your basement. Also, pine straw clumps in the corner or seams of your roof will give insects a great place to live and breed. You could have an infestation in no time. The best thing to do is have a professional roof cleaner to remove any clumps of pine straw that may collect. It is a simple project that will not cost you a great deal of money. This is not the sort of project you will want to attempt on your own because of the danger that climbing onto your roof poses.
