Don't Use a Hose to Clean Out Your Gutter
If you are a homeowner, you know how particularly frustrating clogged gutters can be. The clog causes the rain to overflow from the sides of the gutter and can be responsible for serious flooding and erosion around your property. If you do have a clogged gutter, whatever you do, don't use a hose to try and clear it. Using a hose on a clogged gutter simply exasperates the problem. A hose does not have a high enough water pressure to force the clog out of your gutter. In fact, using a hose to unclog a gutter is the surest way to soak the clog and make it more difficult to clean out. If you have a clogged gutter, either climb up to the roof and clear the clog by hand or call a gutter professional to come out and do the work for you. Calling a professional gutter cleaner will save you the time and effort it takes to do the job right.
