When to Call a Plumber
Many homeowners who have drain or water pressure issues are unsure of when to try and fix the problem themselves or when to call in a professional plumber. There are a couple of things you can do to assess the problem and then make an educated decision on when to call in a plumber. If you have a slow or no drain, then you should try a liquid plumbing solution from your local home and garden center. Sometimes, a small clog can be cleared quite easily with the proper material. But if this step does not solve your problem, you should call in a professional. For water pressure issues, it is always a good idea to let a plumber check out the cause. Your plumbing is much too complicated to have a go at if you are not sure of yourself. Although it will cost you to have a professional plumber look at your system, it may save you hundreds if you make the wrong move in your attempt to remedy the issue yourself.
