Replace Your Heating System Filter
If you are getting less than warming results from your home heating system, you should first check the filter of the unit. Heating filters trap particles that might cause a serious build up in your system. And because the system runs heavy in the winter, you can easily wear a heating filter out within a month of solid use. Heating filters are fairly inexpensive and can be found at any home and garden center. The filter is usually placed in a sleeve on the side of the heating unit. Just open up the bay door, slide the old filter out, and replace it with a new one. It will make a world of difference in your heating system operation.
